Our partner, a fast-growing international retail chain, is considering candidates for the position of Head of Food.
This is an opportunity to lead the full cycle of building a new business direction: from concept and menu development to operational standards, financial modelling, and scaling.
Your decisions will define the success of the FOOD direction across the entire network.
Objective: to develop and implement a new service format for an existing international retail network. The goal is to build a profitable FOOD direction within the chain.

- The goal of the new service is to bring together taste, speed and accessibility for every customer
- Develop the FOOD concept: target audience, service format, assortment and value proposition
- Define space allocation, zoning, menu, services and service speed
- Build the roadmap for implementing the service format: project phases, KPIs, budget, timelines
- Launch and scale the FOOD direction in existing stores: coffee, bakery, hot snacks, quick bites
- Implement the new Food & Fun format: concept, activities, partnerships and promotions
- Manage pricing, assortment and promo plans
- Analyze and monitor financial performance: revenue, margin, net profit, conversion rate, average ticket
- Manage projects and cross-functional teams: marketing, procurement, IT
- Develop operational efficiency standards: layout processes, visual merchandising, customer journey
- Collaborate with local markets and partners, prepare materials for management and KPI reporting
- Experience in Food/Retail format management, category management or similar roles, 5+ years
- Participation in launching new formats, restaurants or food zones in shopping malls or street retail
- Strong understanding of food formats, merchandising, customer journey and operational efficiency in retail
- Project management experience: new format launches, scaling, etc.
- Outstanding analytical skills: data analysis, KPIs, financial literacy, data-driven decision-making
- Proven experience in launching and scaling projects, budget management and roadmap development
- Ability to develop concepts, form them into requirements and coordinate implementation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
