Our partner, a leading international company in Ukraine’s retail market, is seeking an experienced  Senior System Analyst

Professional goal:

To take part in developing an exceptional mobile application designed for tens of millions of the company’s customers.

Main responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements, develop technical tasks, and specifications for new implementations in existing software.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including system requirement documents, business process diagrams (BPMN, UML), and technical specifications to facilitate project understanding and implementation.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical specialists from the IT department or outsourcing teams.
  • Design business processes and visually map their details in diagrams.
  • Analyze and assess the current system architecture, identifying areas for improvement to align with project objectives.
  • Perform data analysis and modeling to support data flow and structures that meet project goals and reporting requirements.
  • Develop use cases, user stories, and other artifacts to describe system behavior and interactions, ensuring clarity for developers and project participants.
  • Create templates and quality criteria for business and system analysis artifacts.
  • Provide recommendations for testing the final product.
  • Accept and validate functionality after development completion.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in business or system analysis and technical requirement preparation.
  • Proficiency in using BPMN and UML notations.
  • Practical skills in using modern business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Business Studio, Miro, Axure, Sigma, Balsamiq, etc.).
  • Understanding of Client-server and Microservices architectures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with REST API, MySQL, and MS SQL is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience in projects involving the development of web and mobile applications.
  • Understanding of front-end and back-end requirement descriptions.
  • Familiarity with software development standards and methodologies (WF, Scrum/Agile, Kanban).
