Our partner, an international investment company, that is actively developing one of the largest retail chains in Eastern and Central Europe, is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its international team.
The role combines strategic legal counsel with practical day-to-day support, helping drive sustainable growth for one of the fastest-growing retail groups in Eastern Europe.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and advice on commercial, corporate, compliance, and employment matters of the holding company and affiliated companies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate documentation and agreements.
- Liaise with external advisors, auditors, banks, and public authorities when needed.
- Legal Monitoring: Stay updated on legal changes affecting the company and propose recommendations.
- Contract Management: Prepare, review, and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Business Process Improvement: Identify and suggest ways to streamline business operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional legal experience in an international business environment.
- Master’s degree in Law.
- Proven experience supporting legal operations in Cyprus.
- Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and corporate documents independently.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Fluent English and Ukrainian (both written and spoken).
- Strong problem-solving mindset, proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions.
- High adaptability: comfortable in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
