Data Analyst/ Data Project Manager. Cyprus.

Our partner, an international IT product company, is currently considering candidates for the position of  Data Analyst/ Data Project Manager for its office in Cyprus.

Professional goal:

• Ensure structured and centralized documentation within DAAP.
• Improve communication between BI, Data Science and Engineering teams.
• Standardize the description of metrics, KPIs and data products.
• Contribute to the development of Data Governance practices.

Key Tasks:

• Maintain the data catalog and business glossary in Confluence or a dedicated catalog tool.
• Develop templates for data product passports and metric descriptions.
• Collect structured information about tables, sources and data owners.
• Keep business terminology consistent across domains.
• Support preparation of project reports in JIRA or Confluence.

Main responsibilities:
  • Maintain DAAP project documentation in Confluence: architecture, processes, glossary, data products.
  • Create and update the data catalog, including sources, tables, relationships and data owners.
  • Prepare data product passports describing structure, business metrics, SLA and responsible stakeholders.
  • Work with business teams and analysts to align metrics and KPIs.
  • Support the process of defining Data Owners and Data Stewards across domains.
  • Coordinate with Data Engineers, BI and Data Science teams to gather information about data structures.
  • Prepare project status updates, maintain documentation and perform regular content audits.
  • Assist Product Owners with task planning and milestone tracking.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager, Data Analyst or Documentation Specialist.
  • Experience working with Confluence, Notion or Wiki.
  • Understanding of data architecture principles such as DWH, BI and ETL.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database structures.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Strong information structuring and documentation skills.
  • English at Intermediate+ level.
