Our partner, a European innovative beverage company, is currently considering candidates for the position of Influencer Partnerships Manager at their office in India.
Role overview:
- We’re seeking an ambitious professional to become the face of our brands in India’s social media landscape.
- Your mission: find, engage, and manage micro-influencers across the country, transforming them into genuine ambassadors for brand.
- Location: New Delhi or Mumbai (with regional travel)
- Reporting to: CMO EXPORT + India Country Marketing Lead
- Budget responsibility: Full P&L accountability and campaign ROI ownership
Main responsibilities:
Discovery & Recruitment
- Find stars in every corner of India — from Punjab to Kerala, from Hindi bloggers to Tamil TikTokers
- Build comprehensive databases of micro- and macro-influencers by region, language, and audience
- Analyze audience quality — filter out bots, fake accounts, and inorganic traffic
Negotiations & Contracts
- Negotiate win-win deals — pricing, exclusivity, content usage rights
- Create bulletproof agreements working with legal team
- Manage finances — no advance payments, performance-based compensation only
Campaign Management
- Create detailed briefs for influencers — what to shoot, how to present products, key messages
- Control content quality — from concept to publication
- Coordinate with teams — creative, digital, and field sales
Analytics & Reporting
- Measure effectiveness — reach, engagement, conversions, ROI
- Report to leadership on results and recommendations
- Optimize strategies based on data insights
Requirements:
Experience & Education
- 3+ years in marketing, with influencer management experience in India
- FMCG/beverages/lifestyle brands — category understanding is crucial
- Agency or major beverage brand experience preferred
Localization & Culture
- You know the culture from within
- Multi-state work experience — you understand regional nuances
- Fluent English & business Hindi — can communicate with local teams
Technical Skills
- Analytics tools — audience verification, fraud detection
- Excel/Google Sheets — comfortable working with data
- BigQuery/SQL — plus for deeper analytics
- Complex negotiations — can deal with diverse personality types
Personal Qualities
- Absolute integrity — zero tolerance for kickbacks and corruption
