Our partner, a fast-growing international non-food discount retail chain, is entering the Bulgarian market and building a strong local team. In this context, a new position for an HR Manager (Bulgaria) has been opened.

The company has shown impressive growth, expanding its store network more than tenfold in just six years and surpassing 1,800 locations by October 2025.

According to the Colliers ExCEEDING Borders Retail Report 2024, it ranks among the top three largest non-food discount chains in Central and Eastern Europe.

We are looking for an HR Manager who will become a key player in shaping the team and building the HR system from scratch.

Main responsibilities:
  • Full-cycle recruitment for office and retail positions: posting vacancies, conducting interviews, assessing candidates, and onboarding new hires.
  • Drafting and maintaining employment contracts, job descriptions, and other HR documents in accordance with Bulgarian labor legislation.
  • Developing and implementing internal HR policies and procedures: code of conduct, leave policy, disciplinary rules, motivation programs, etc.
  • Liaising with external providers for payroll, social contributions, and other HR-related payments.
  • Organizing corporate training and development programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, implementing workplace safety and employee well-being procedures.
  • Building HR reporting and analytics for company management.
  • Establishing internal communication systems, organizational structure, and process regulations.
