Our partner, an innovative European beverage company, is currently seeking candidates for the position of Category / Brand Manager.
Role Objective
Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategies for category development by brand
Build and regularly update the category roadmap
Generate proposals for new product development (NPD) within the category
Analyze the performance of the existing product portfolio
Main responsibilities:
Product Portfolio Management:
- Analyze the performance of the existing portfolio based on sales and financial indicators
- Initiate the launch of new SKUs and propose the removal or rotation of underperforming SKUs
- Coordinate production to ensure consistent quality and timely product release
- Define the roles of brands within the category and ensure effective brand positioning
Pricing:
- Develop pricing strategies for the category by brand
- Create and regularly update pricing indices
- Develop pricing strategies for new products
- Monitor the competitive pricing environment
Marketing and Promotional Activities:
- Develop and implement creative advertising campaigns
- Create a marketing activation calendar for all products in the category
- Provide recommendations for product placement across sales channels
- Plan expenses for entry into new retail outlets and chains
- Participate in special projects and collaborations (initiation, negotiations, contract preparation)
