  • Detailed Analysis: Access to the company’s history and policies, project details, and understanding the size of the team are key stages of recruiting for this position.
  • Test Assignment: A test task to assess the candidate’s skills.
  • Portfolio Requirements: Setting portfolio requirements especially for positions like Animator, Artist, etc.
  • Timeframe and Additional Requirements: Define the timeframe and other additional requirements for the position.

It is also worth noting that recruiting in this industry is somewhat creative. Particular attention should be paid to familiarizing yourself with the candidates’ experience, as well as to the recruiter’s subjective assessment of the portfolio and the chances of their work meeting the client’s/Lead’s expectations. Given this, it is important to pay attention to the style of work expected by the client as early as at the stage of formulating the requirements for the position.

Almost always, this plays a positive role in the further consideration of the candidate, and the request to modify or fill in the portfolio is usually positively received by the candidate. This interaction with the candidate not only improves the quality of the material presented, but also promotes mutual understanding between the recruiter and the candidate.

The final stage of the assessment often includes a face-to-face meeting where the recruiter discusses in detail the relevance of the candidate’s experience to the specific position. Additionally, at this stage, the candidate receives information about the company, the project, additional wishes, as well as examples of the company’s work or a specific project. Interaction at this stage creates the basis for a successful and productive future development.
